Join us for a midweek snow adventure at Timberline which offers the longest ski season in North America. Historically, the winter season begins early to mid-November and continues through the end of May. Timberline has many green and blue runs for cruising, and a few challenging black runs for those who seek a bigger thrill. The views from Timberline are magnificent!
Join fellow club members for an enjoyable day of skiing or riding, starting with a convenient carpool meet-up at Safeway in Sandy at 7:30 am by the ATM machine in the parking lot. Meet up with people who ski or ride at your level: take it easy on the greens, cruise the blues. Enjoy the scenic journey as you make your way to the slopes, sharing the excitement with your fellow enthusiasts. Carpools can be organized or we can meet at the day lodge. Ski days are arranged according to weather and availability of members. The activity leader will send out periodic emails inviting people to join her on a particular day, or you can contact her and she can send out notices to others on the email list for Timberline to find a companion for you.
Timberline has a day lodge that has lift ticket sales, rental shop, ski repair shop, ski school, lockers, shop with gear and gifts, café and bar. There are also picnic tables for those who bring their own food. Timberline offers discounted tickets for seniors and a Legacy Season Pass at a reduced price, so check their website for details They are also part of the Fusion Pass system. The historic Timberline Lodge was built in 1937 and offers accommodation packages for stay and ski.
